The 454ss North American Truck Club’s 9th Annual Sport Truck Shootout is August 02, 2008 at the London Dragway, 3835 White Oak Road, London, Ky.

Trucks! from PowerBlock TV, which airs on the "Spike" network with Ryan and Kevin, will be joining us to unveil the 1990 Chevy 454SS and the 1994 Ford Gen 1 Lightning they are building on the show this season titled MuscleTrux. Our event is open to all street trucks, any make, model or year this includes the following (but not limited to): S-10s, Lightnings, F-150s, Harley Trucks, Dakotas, R/Ts, SRT-10s, Rams, Syclones, Typhoons, El Caminos, Silverado SSs, Diesels and 4x4s. We are working on having some exhibitions at the race. Please keep checking back here for updates for the event.

ENTREE FEE TO SPORT TRUCK SHOOTOUT RACE -
  • $35.00 before June 12, 2008
  • $40.00 from June 13, 2008 until race time

Goody bags will be given racing participant who pre-register.

SPECTATOR FEE - $15.00

Schedule: (subject to change so please check website often)
  • Track opens at 11 a.m. for racing participants and spectators.
  • The Shootout race will begin at 2:30 p.m. and run until all the trucks have completed their racing.
  • Followed by the trophy presentation.

Trophies will be presented for the following classes:
1/8 mile:
  • 7.04 and faster
  • 7.05 to 7.69

1/4 mile:
  • 12.00 to 12.99
  • 13.00 to 13.99
  • 14.00 or 14.99
  • 15.00 to 15.99
  • 16.00 & slower

Bonus
  • Slowest ET
  • King of the Track 1/8 mile:
  • King of the Track 1/4 mile:

We will be selling our 50/50 tickets and raffle tickets.

This year will be our 9 year anniversary as a club, so we are going to have a party on Friday night, August 01, 2008, (Place to be announced). Come and celebrate with us. Information will be posted, as it becomes available.
